Get To Know You bingo generator

Human bingo without the prep. Pick a theme and a card size, deal a card, and print one per person or let everyone generate their own. Every square is safe for an onboarding day, an offsite or a video call.

Get to know you bingo

Find a different person for each square. Write their name in, or tap to mark it.

Each New card deals a different set, so every person can print their own. Print hides everything except the card.

How to run get to know you bingo

  1. Give everyone a card. Print one each, or share this page and let people deal their own.
  2. Set a timer for ten minutes. People find a different person for each square and write their name in.
  3. One name per square, and nobody can sign their own card.
  4. First full line wins the quick game; first full card wins the long one.
  5. Close by reading three surprising squares out loud and asking who signed them.

The game works because it gives shy people a script. “Have you ever slept in an airport?” is a question anyone can ask a stranger, and the answer is usually a story.

After the bingo

Bingo gets names and one fact per person. The animal quiz gets the rest: everyone takes it in five minutes, the free team page puts the results on one map, and “which animal are you?” carries the conversation through lunch. For a shorter follow-up, the icebreaker question generator and the Two Truths and a Lie generator run on the same rules: easy to answer, easy to pass.

Quick answers

How do you play get to know you bingo?
Everyone gets a card of squares such as "has run a marathon" or "speaks more than two languages". People walk around (or use the chat on a video call) to find a person who matches each square and write their name in. The first full line, or the first full card, wins. It takes ten to fifteen minutes and gets a whole room talking.
Does every player get a different card?
Yes. Each New card deals a fresh set from the bank, so print one per person or let people generate their own on a phone. A 5×5 card uses 24 squares and a free centre; 3×3 and 4×4 cards are quicker for small groups.
Are the squares safe for work?
Yes. All 130 avoid bodies, money, health, religion, politics and relationships, and none would embarrass the newest person on the team. The Work and Remote sets were written for onboarding days and all-hands.
How do I print the cards?
Press Print on the card. The print view hides everything except the card itself, so one card fits one page. Copy squares puts the list on your clipboard if you prefer to lay it out yourself.
Can I play it on a video call?
Yes. Pick the Remote set, share the card on screen or let everyone generate their own, and use breakout rooms or the chat to find matches. Give people ten minutes, then ask who has the most names.
