These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services offered at animalpersonalityquiz.com and related subdomains (collectively, the "Service"). References to "we," "us," and "our" mean the operator of the Service (the "Operator").

1. The Service

The Service provides personality-style quizzes, content, and optional team or employer features (for example, inviting colleagues to take a quiz, viewing aggregated results, and generated team summaries). The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for professional advice (including medical, psychological, legal, or HR advice in regulated contexts).

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the security of your sign-in method (for example, access to your email inbox for magic links). You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Team and employer data

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization or invite others, you represent that you have the right to provide their contact details and to invite them to participate, and that you comply with applicable employment, privacy, and marketing law (including obtaining any consent or notice required in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for your organization's use of the Service and for the accuracy of roster data you upload.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights;
  • attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach authentication or security measures;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service;
  • scrape, harvest, or automate access to the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load or circumvents access controls;
  • use the Service to send spam, malware, or misleading or harassing communications;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate others.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding user content you upload), is owned by the Operator or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our prior written consent.

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit your content and that of people you invite, solely to operate and improve the Service.

6. Fees and payments

Certain features may require purchase of credits or plans. Paid purchases are processed by Gumroad (or another designated payment processor). Your payment relationship is with Gumroad under its terms and privacy policy; we do not receive your full payment card details. We may record purchase-related metadata in our systems to deliver credits or entitlements. Prices and taxes are as shown at checkout. Unless required by law, fees are generally non-refundable once we or Gumroad have delivered the digital goods or credits; if you believe a charge is in error, contact us and we will review in good faith.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services (including hosting, email delivery, analytics, database hosting, and AI providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. See our Privacy Policy for an overview.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. QUIZ RESULTS AND TEAM REPORTS ARE GENERATED FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND GENERAL INSIGHT; THEY ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT OR DECISION-MAKING.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING MANDATORY CONSUMER PROTECTION RULES IN SERBIA THAT CANNOT BE CONTRACTUALLY WAIVED), IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY EU (EUR 50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW (FOR EXAMPLE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OR DEATH / PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE WHERE REQUIRED).

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify the Operator against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights (including when you add team members without proper authority).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access with or without notice if we believe it is necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another law to apply. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Republic of Serbia, except where mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
